    Tesia & Nick

I had an amazing time as a second shooter for Ashley Cox. She was great to work for and I really enjoyed being able to experiment with a few pictures.
Tesia & Nick were so much fun! Thanks so much for being willing to march around outside in the middle of the day. I pray you guys have a wonderful marriage!!

Here's a few of the pictures from the day:

Here's a picture of Ashley taking a shot. I climbed into a tree to take this and the shot above where I am looking straight down at the couple.

Weddings are so much fun!!! I hope to be doing more very soon!

    Pals Piesporter 2005

My dad and I just got back from a wonderful afternoon at Sorelli's From The Vine in Fountain Hills, AZ.
We had a wonderful time bottling up our wine with the owners. Everybody over there is great!! They seem to have an endless supply of energy. But that may come from the wonderful stovetop espresso that they make all the time.

As a gift to my dad, we went and made some of our own wine. With the help of the guys at Sorelli's of course.
We chose a German Piesporter which tends to be a semi-sweet wine. A great middle ground white wine. Not too dry and not too sweet at all.
Here's a little of what went on this afternoon...

    And here's the finished product!!!
If you are lucky enough you may be invited to try some of this wonderful refreshing wine.!!
    Cheers to all!!

    Play Ball...Bird Boy

I had a great time attending a ball game this weekend. The Diamondbacks were playing the Rockies, so my friend and I really didn't care too much about the game.

But of course I had my camera with me to snap a few photos.

During the game I noticed that a high-school aged kid was looking through a bird book and also had a pair of binoculars. Then I noticed that he was trying to spot all the different kinds of birds that were flying around inside the stadium. He did this the entire game.

Why come to a game? Isn't outside a much better place to spot birds?

Well, I had to take a picture of him reviewing his bird guide.

So, here's to the birds that live in ballparks. They get to enjoy more games than I do.

It's ok to be a bench warmer...but it's much better in the game!

While I was shooting pictures of J & Peri's wedding I noticed this guy just sitting on the bench just enjoying the wonderful sound of the crashing ocean.

He never seemed to look out, just to the ground in front of him. I was imagining him sitting there with his eyes closed, listening to the crashing ocean, while thinking of all the things that he had hoped to do someday. And yet he was still sitting there wasting that time!

It hit me after a while that I could be that guy. If I just sat around where I was right now, yeah I would still enjoy it, but I would still regret not doing those things. So, why not just do top things on my list of 'things to do' rather than continuing to start at the bottom and work my way up the list. Because the list always seems to be getting longer and longer if you start at the bottom. But if you start at the top, it doesn't seem to be holding you back anymore.

So here's me, jumping, no, leaping into something that I want to do. Photography.

I love it. It gets me going. So, I'm LEAPING at it, and leaving the old behind, while I search out and learn from the new.

    It's so exciting!!

    Irish Car Bombs!!! Booom!!

I couldn't help but capture this wonderful moment at J & Peri's wedding rehearsal dinner.

A few Irish Car Bombs were ordered toward the end of the night.

Josh was one of the takers and he seemed to enjoy it!

    I love Irish Car Bombs!!

J & Peri, You guys are Awesome!!!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending and videotaping J & Peri Prather's wedding in La Jolla, Ca.

Everybody was so kind. I felt as though I were part of the family for the weekend. Thanks guys!!

Here's a few pics from the weekend:

The bottom picture is something that really moved me at the wedding. Family and friends gathered around the couple, putting their hand over them while the father of the groom prayed over them and gave their blessing over the marriage. It was an amazing example of what was traditional in Jewish weddings. Friends and family are not only there to witness the couple publicly, but also to give their blessing over the marriage. It was such a moving thing to see.

    So, to J & Peri,

Peri, may you be an amazing wife. May the Lord bless you in everything that you do. And may he also bless your children that you have. So they will fill the people around them with cheer, just as the two of you do. J, may you be a man of God. Let Him lead you in every decision that you make. And be willing to make impossible leaps in the direction that He leads you and your family. And lead your wife and children by the Lords commands, so that they may know who their Heavenly Father is. Bless you both. You both amaze me!

Thanks so much guys. You're AWESOME!!
