I just finished a great nap at the edge of the Sacramento river. Here's my view as I'm laying the the grass.

Anneliese + Jeremy Wedding in Sacramento

This wedding was so much fun! A few weeks ago I photographed Anneliese and Jeremy's engagement photos on Laguna Beach. Here's one of the great shots from the session.


And now I had the priviledge to fly into Sacramento to photograph their wedding at the old downtown Westminster Presbyterian Church. They were so much fun to work with. We had their first meeting of the day at the church and then we walked around part of the surrounding downtown area for some great photos.

The Stewart Household

After arriving in Sacramento on Friday I drove over to Chris and Jen Stewart's home for a bbq dinner they invited me to. The three of us sat outside while their kids jumped into the play pool giving us some great entertainment.

Here's Aiden a little confused the the water stopped running, while his brothers Brian (front) and Regan (behind) run in for some belly flops in the 4in deep water.

I arrived in Sacramento today only to find out that I wasn't going to beat the heat. They are seeing record highs just like Phoenix. But I always enjoy visiting new cities and last time I flew in to Sacramento I had to drive about 40 minutes out of town for the wedding.



Tomorrow's wedding is downtown at an old church next to the state Capitol.



And tonight I was invited to come and BBQ with Chris and Jen Stewart who are both coming to photograph with me tomorrow. I'm sure there will be some fun pics from tonight.

John Mayer Concert

The John Mayer concert was great. Although I remember seeing him on his first tour before he got all big. He played at a small amphitheater about 6 years ago which was definitely a different experience.
