    NEW NIKON D3 CAMERA!!!

I am one of the first in Arizona to receive the new Nikon D3. It just went on sale today and Nikon was nice enough to send one to a local store with my name on it!

This camera is amazing and will totally change how I work with light on a wedding day or portrait shoot. It produces beautiful photos in dim situations without having to use flash which is great. It also has an entirely new full-frame CMOS sensor that Nikon engineered.

So even though the last two days have been tough for me (another post to come) I'm stoked about using this camera at my wedding tomorrow. It's been raining all day today and will do the same tomorrow but I'm not worried because I picked up 6 umbrellas for the bridal party to use and my new camera is all weather-sealed and will do just fine in the rain. We're going to get some great photos out in the rain!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. We've got a lot to announce in the next few months!

    Thanksgiving in Alpine, AZ

I'm on my way back to Phoenix with my best friend Troy. We spent Thanksgiving with his family at their cabin and I was so excited when I woke up to snow on the car and ground. Post more photos later.

    FexEx is My Friend

I've been in the office all day long to make sure that all of our shipments go out before tomorrow. Hopefully they'll arrive on Friday but if they don't they should by Monday.

I'm working on getting all of this out today so I've had to ignore my voice mail the last two days but I will check it later today and respond tonight if it's urgent or Monday if it can wait.

I'm heading up to Pine, AZ in the White Mountains tomorrow for some cooler weather and good times with my best friend Troy and his family.
    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    System Updates!

We've been working on updating a few systems in our business recently.

One of those involved switching over our website to a static server for a project that we'll be releasing soon (can't wait to let you all know what it is). For some reason we have had a few people tell us that our website is not working. Hopefully the internet service providers will have their systems updated within a day or two so that everyone can view the slideshows that we recently sent out.

The other update was in our office. We just added another 3 Terabytes of protected storage for all of our photos. This will allow us to keep up with the large amount of photos that we work with each week. As well as make sure that our systems are also backed up off-site. For those of you who are tech geeks, we have a total of 7 terabytes of space and have two RAID systems.

We also have many more exciting projects in the works for both our clients and other photographers. So be sure to sign up for our newsletter if you aren't already. There is a link on the right side of this blog.

And if any of you know much about a VPN setup, shoot me an email because I'm looking to set one up and I have a few questions.
