The snow up here is beautiful. I totally forgot my camera battery so I might have to make a trip back to phoenix tomorrow so that I can take photos of my friend Todd and his family.

First Day in NYC

Erin and Scot met in New York City and so it was only fitting for us to all fly out there for their engagement session. Ardon and Missy, their friends joined us as well.
The first night in NY we took some photos in Times Square. There is so much light around that you don't even need a flash.



I love this one. They weren't sure what to do so they just started laughing. And the cabs were driving on either side of them for a great photo.


We went out to dinner to the Blue Water Grill with some of Erin's friends from NY. One of Erin's friends, Linda, was celebrating her birthday that evening (26th) and my birthday was on the 27th so the night was filled with celebrations.

Missy was not feeling well so she missed out on all of the fun. We moved the party over to the Flatiron Lounge for the rest of the night.

We woke up the next morning to start our adventure around the city to capture some great engagement photos. More photos coming to the blog soon.

I took the red eye flight to NYC last night so that I could hang out in the city with Erin and Scot today before we photograph their engagement session tomorrow. I'm definitely tired though so I better grab and hour or two of sleep before I start moving today. More photos to come.

Thanks Mom!

My birthday is on Sunday but I'll be in New York City photographing an engagement session so my mom gave me my gift early.



She bought me two ocean kayaks for me to take with me on my trips to California. I received a roof rack for my xB over Christmas and all it was missing were a few of my own kayaks. Thanks Mom!

Tracy + Paul's Wedding at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix, AZ

This last weekend I had my first wedding of the year. Tracy and Paul were back in town from Pennsylvania where they now live. I had a wonderful time with their family and friends who flew many miles to celebrate with the couple.

Paul sent a nice note along with Tracy's wedding day gift.

My Brother - Darren

This last Monday my younger bother had off school so we spent the day together. We started by playing some Racquetball and then we picked up his friend Stéphane to take some photos.

We drove up to an abandoned building for a few photos and then headed to a local skate park.

They both love skateboarding and the Chandler Skate Park is a great location.


At the skate park a guy named Raul did a melon over a few guys and I pieced together this photo from the sequence of shots.

Client Raves!

I love receiving messages from our past clients telling us what their photos mean to them and how much they enjoyed the time at the photo shoot. This message came in last week from Eli who married Rachel in October last year.

Uptown Bridal

I teamed up with Uptown Bridal last year to create their advertising campaign. They have done a wonderful job and I loved how the images came out. This is one of their recent fliers and everyone has fallen in love with the store mascot.

The store is located in downtown Chandler which is a great place to grab a glass of wine or a tea at one of the local shops before you begin your pursuit of the perfect dress.

Kelly + Brett - Tempe, AZ

I know that Kelly has been waiting so patiently for me to post some of her wedding photos on my blog. The holidays slowed me down and I definitely wanted to take the time to show off some amazing photos from her wedding day. Kelly looked stunning and as you can see below Brett looked very dignified.

The Schorie Kids

I had a wonderful session with the Schorie kids last week. We all played around in the front yard and got some great photos. I enjoy staying at the family's home for photos because the kids always feel more comfortable.











This photo is now on display as a 20x30 Gallery Print in our studio.

I did a photo session for Rick Utter my insurance agent and his family this last December. If any of you are in need or home, auto or business insurance Rick is provides insurance through American Family Insurance.

Heidy's Quinceañera

Heidy's quinceañera was held on a beautiful December day at Immaculate Heart of Mary church in Phoenix with the reception being held at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch. This was my first time photographing a quinceañera and I was surprise how similar it is to a wedding day.

The entire family and close friends showed up.
