Outbreak Concert Photos

I photographed Outbreak on Wednesday night. It is a youth ministry event sponsored by many New Braunfels, TX area churches a few times a year.


I had a blast photographing the event.


Ryan Koenig from Tree of LIfe Church did a great job leading the music for the event.









My friend Mikie also worked video for the screens.


A guest speaker from Newport Beach spoke.

Texas Grape Stomp Off

Last weekend I visited the First Annual Texas Grape Stomp Off at the Vintage Oaks community. I've never attended a stomp off so I was really interested in what happened.



I showed up to the first group competing.


They each have a large bucket to stomp in

Brazos has the job of keeping the drain hole clean from pulp so the juice will drain into a jug.


All done after 10 minutes of stomping and scraping. Now it's time to weigh out against all of the other competitors.

They won their round and are currently in first out of all the rounds!


Jessica and I decided that we would compete as well.




All ready!





It was a great day to be stomping on grapes.


We had an issue with our juice flowing down the drain but we had a fun time.

Mean Eyed Cat

Mark Adams, Suzi Q and her husband Noah and I went out tonight to the Mean Eyed Cat bar which is devoted to everything Johnny Cash. Its a great bar in the Austin area.

So, what is a gallery wrap?
We print your photograph on photographic paper and then strip the backing paper off of it. The the front film of the print is pressed to canvas material which is then stretched over wooden stretching bars. The image wraps all the way around the edge of the frame providing a great look that doesn't require any framing. The back of the wrap is covered in framing paper and hanging hooks are added on the back top corners so it's ready to hang on your wall when it arrives.

How to Order:
Just visit our Online Gallery to find the image that you would like to order. Then under the size selection you'll find the Sale price listed for the Metallic Gallery Wrap. Place your order and we'll get it to you within 2 weeks.



Here is an example. Because the image wraps around the edge, you will loose a portion of the image. We can also place a solid color or texture around the edge if there is not enough space on the image to wrap around.

By default we print on metallic photographic paper to make the images pop.

My Baby Sister Anna Marie

I was finally back to Phoenix a few weeks ago and had some time to photograph my baby sister, Anna Marie. It was definitely an interesting challenge photographing a newborn baby. But she's just so dang cute.


She didn't care for lying in the the bucket that we had.


The cutest little feet.




After a break my dad showed up and was able to help calm her down a bit so that we could take a few more photos.

Meet Raja

Raja is my sister's dog here in Texas. We believe she is a Blue Heeler Lab mix but there is no doubt that she loves ice so we gave her a block of ice this afternoon.


"Mmm...it tastes so icy and cold."


This is her first time in front of the camera.


Ok, no playing around anymore.




It took forever but she finally calmed down enough to give me a nice pose.


She found Heather's drink laying around and seemed to enjoy it.

Hanging in San Antonio

I was invited to drive down to San Antonio on Wednesday to hang out with Brian Hancock, another cool photographer in the area. Brian also does some sweet re-designs for Blogger blogs. We went to a nice sushi and thai place called Mon Thai and I had some good chicken panang.

Summer Days

A frozen chai is a nice break from the heat of a summer day.

Sandra + Eric Wedding - Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Troon North

Sandra and Eric were married on August 31 at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Troon North, surrounded by a crowd of close friends and family. The couple had a great morning prepping for everything and the day turned out to be wonderful considering it was in the middle of the summer in Arizona.

The Four Seasons Troon North is a beautiful resort surrounded by huge boulders and saguaro cactus in the desert.




Sandra got ready with all of her girlfriends around her.


She looked amazing in her dress




Her dad couldn't wait to give her a hug after seeing his beautiful daughter.


We found a nice couch at the entrance to one of the restaurants at the resort.

We all had a wonderful time at the wedding. Thanks again to my wonderful assistant Josh for helping me out.

Baby Kittens Next Door

My neighbor has been watching some kittens for a couple of weeks before they go back to the shelter to be adopted out. They are so young and all needed to be fed by bottle which was so cute.


This is their first day adventuring out into the backyard into the green grass.






He thinks he has found something buried in the grass.






They all enjoyed their adventurous day!
