In order to make an educated decision for our ceremony location and reception details; we planned a 4 day trip out to the island about 6 months before the date of the ceremony. While we were there, it was all work and not much play. We met with Margarita who brought us on a tour of the island to see all possible ceremony locations, met with the florist and had traditional Greek food and wine tastings at the restaurants we were interested in for our reception. This trip marked the time we began prepaying for our wedding, reception and group events so that we were as worry free as possible while there.
