Jefferson Todd Photography

Hi Everyone!

I know it's just past July, but I really wanted to get out a newsletter in July so I'm still going to call this July's newsletter.

It amazes me how busy I've been during my off-season. I was traveling for the majority of July to shoot engagement sessions with couples that have upcoming weddings. It was definitely a nice break from the record heat in Arizona.

Check out this month's news!

Coronado Island, CA Engagement Sessions

I thought I would try something new I planned a trip to Coronado Island and let all of my clients know that I would be there to shoot engagement sessions. It worked out really well and we all had a great time hanging out on the beach.

Beautiful New Location

Harvest Groves is my new favorite shooting location in the Phoenix area. It's a beautiful spot for a unique outdoor wedding in the Valley. Couples exchange vows beneath a canopy of pecan trees set on 10 acres of land.

I currently have a wedding published in the Phoenix located Wedding Chronicle which can be found be found valley-wide featuring a wedding located at Harvest Groves.

If you are having a spring wedding definitely check them out. The pecan trees are perfect by mid-April for photographs.

I also had a chance to photography my dad and step mom while I was on Coronado Island. They had a blast being in front of the camera!

New Guestbooks

We are now offering custom guestbooks designed from your engagement sessions.

They come as a 20-page 8"x 8" hardbound album with glossy pages which are perfect for signing on with Sharpies.

This is a great change from the traditional sign book at a wedding. Think of this as more of a wedding day message book allowing you to relive your guest's thoughts and best wishes for years to come.

I'm excited to announce that I'll be speaking at the Pictage Partner Conference this September in LA. I'll be speaking and sharing about my business and how I produce the iPod slideshows that we create for our clients. If you can make it to the conference it will be well worth it. There are going to be some amazing speakers including friends Mike Colon and David Jay.

I'm also launching a resource page for other wedding photographers. I am constantly receiving emails from other photographers on how I run parts of my business and especially about the iPods. So, I've decided to put together this site to be a common resource for all of these questions and let you know about some products we're developing.

If you're a photographer, make sure that you are checked to receive my Photographer's Newsletter. If you're not sure that you did, just click the 'Update Profile/Email Address" link at the bottom of this email. I'll be sending out the more information shortly regarding an exciting new product that will speed up your wedding night slideshow workflow.
